30 minute Crop shirt

Suburbs Mama linked up her crop top tutorial and I thought it was so awesome that I made one for my little girl.  I splurged a little on fabric and was worried that I'd ruin it, so I just pulled out a piece that's been in my fabric stash for years.  Instead of cutting 1 rectangle, I cut one long one ( so mine isn't sewn together at the shoulders).  It fit over her head, so I didn't use a zipper either.  I think it took longer to write the post, than to make the shirt.  Basically if you know what a rectangle is and can sew in a straight line, you can make this shirt. Since the practice one turned out so cute I'm going to make her another one today.

It took under 30 minutes, cost me nothing, and was declared cool enough for middle school!

  1. I made a shirt very similar to this one, and it is the easiest shirt to make! Love your fabric, too! Following from "Fridays Unfolded"
