Back to school Decor

Last week at a linky party (don't remember where), I saw that someone did a cute back to school vignette.  I thought it would be a fun way to torture my kids with the fact that school will be starting soon :)
A few years ago my friend Jenni made a vase out of pencils for her son's teacher on the first day of school (do you give first day of school presents? I'm to overwhelmed just trying to get my kids there).
I'm sure there's a tutorial out there somewhere, but I just hot-glued a bunch of them around a Crystal light drink mix canister. (I started w/ an empty spaghetti can, but didn't have enough pencils).  Then I made a bunch of pin-wheels out of notebook paper, hot glued a button on top and attached each to a BBQ skewer.  Easy Peasy.
Look can you see the notebook paper?
I thought it needed something, so I tied on some ribbon, but I'm sure sure if I'm quite happy with it and may play w/ the bow some more.

  1. Cute! I never thought of using back to school as a decorating idea but it kind of fills in these few months where there aren't any holidays. Thanks for the idea! I found your blog through the sugar bee crafts link party and I'm your newest follower!

  5. I read some of DR JOHN SOCO, testimonies about how he helped many people bring back their lovers in 4 days with a love spell. I was having problem with my boyfriend so I decided to contact him because I love my boyfriend so much. he left home and said he is not interested in the relationship anymore for no reason, i was in shock. I contacted DR JOHNSOCO, and he told me that my boyfriend would come back to me in the next 4 days, DR JOHNSOCO, made a love spell and this made my boyfriend eye open to see how much we love each other and he came back home. As I write this testimony, I am the happiest girl on earth. my boyfriend and I are living a happy life and our love is now stronger than it was before we broke up. All thanks to DR JOHNSOCO, for the excessive work he did for me, helping me get back with my boyfriend. if you are facing any relationship problem and want a quick solution contact DR JOHNSOCO,on Email: drjohnsoco@gmail.com or WhatsApp: +1 (706) 871-4571 .
