So many of you may be combining lessons 31 and 32. I was excited when I saw that the topic was service, because I knew I would be able to use my very favorite Neal A. Maxwell quote:
We, more than others, should carry jumper and tow cables in our cars, but also in our hearts, by which means we can send the needed boost of charge of encouragement or the added momentum to mortal neighbors.
I typed it up in Microsoft word-it even had that great picture of the jumper cables. Here's a PDF so you can print it out and mount it on some pretty paper of your own.
While we're on the topic of service, I love this other quote by Elder Maxwell:
So often we feel, implicitly, that we are doing God a favor if we do his work, that we are helping him along when, in fact, our performance properly undertaken is for the welfare of our soul, not his! It is our happiness and our growth his seeks.
