The second one, she just wanted a plain brown t, so I cut the sleeves off and hemmed them. But then I was sitting there w/ 2 sleeves and I thought they would make great headbands. I was just kinda playing around, so I didn't take any pics. If I would have know they would turn out so great, I would have. They were so easy you don't really need pictures.
Plain brown t-shirt (imagine it has long sleeves if you want to see the before)
(sorry the color is weird, but you've been warned about my photogrpahy)
Step 1: Cut one sleeve into 5 equal portions.
Step 2: Take one piece, tie a knot in the end and then wrap the piece around the knot to make a flower.
Step 2: Hot glue the flower to circle of felt.
Step 3: Take another piece of sleeve and sew it to either elastic to fit your head.
Step 4: Sew the flower on the headband
Step 5: Admire how cute you look.
For this one, I just took the remaining 3 parts of the sleeve and braided them together. Then I cut a pony-tail holder in half and sewed it to each end. Cute?
I still have an entire sleeve left-the possibilities!
