Fun w/ Dye!

My last experience w/ dying my hair took place in the bathroom of the college dorms and I have never had it professionally colored, so I thought it would be a fun thing to do for my 40 by 40 list.  I was completely overwhelmed at choosing a color and finally decided just to do streaks. Although the lady did say I could pull off being a blonde?!?  I finally choose cherry coke red (me and Sharon Osborne) I was also nervous, b/c I was using a Groupon and had never been to that saloon before.   I kinda like it, but the hair cut's not may favorite.  It's not bad, just not great.
It is overcast today and my hair is really dark, so you can't even tell that it's colored in the pics. So I'll bend down so you can see the top of my head.
I dyed a lot more than my hair. See my pink sweater?  It used to be white until an unfortunate laundry fiasco gave it ugly brown splotches. I dyed it pink with Dylon dye.  I was worried how a sweater would come out, but it looks like it was born pink and there are no more brown splotches.

Also, you can't see the cute earrings I'm wearing, but they are the slate blues in the pic below from High Wire Living. (I love them).

    1. I was a little shocked how great it turned out. I've used Rit in the past, but this stuff was way better.
